With a recent update to Android, Google has quietly introduced something big: You can now automatically back up your Downloads folder to Google Drive.
Previously, Android backed up:
Contacts
Messages
App data
Call history
Photos
But downloaded files like PDFs, resumes, invoices, and tickets? Not included. That gap is finally closed, thanks to the February Google Play system update.
