Hi {Name}, We are back!!

It’s been a minute…okay, two years. We pressed pause on the Help Desk Geek newsletter to overhaul our editorial workflow and design, and to make sure what we send is genuinely useful, not just another ping in your inbox. That work is done, and we’re excited to hit “send” again.

Why did we stop?

To rebuild for quality. We used the break to tighten our processes, standardize structure, and line up a predictable schedule so you get clear, up-to-date fixes without the fluff.

We’re starting again (for real)

Beginning Wednesday, Oct 22, Help Desk Geek returns with a daily how-to email and a weekly recap - simple, reliable, and focused on the tech you actually use. The first week will feature refreshed classics from our site while new articles roll out right after.

What you’ll get and why keep reading

Each daily edition spotlights one main tutorial plus with a bite-size quick tip from the same category. Expect a short problem setup, the exact steps to solve it, estimated read time, and a bold “Read the full guide” button so you can dive deeper when you need it. It’s practical, skimmable, and designed to save you time.

What to expect next

  • New, weekly site content feeding into your Monday recap so you never miss a guide.

  • Cleaner layout & consistent sections (Header → Intro → Main Article → Quick Tip).

  • Cadence (and timing)

    • Daily How-To: Tuesday–Saturday, one category per day:Chromebook • Google • Linux • Microsoft Office • Windows 10/11.
      Send window: ~8:00 - 9:30 AM ET.

    • Weekly Recap: Every Monday around 9:00 AM ET with all guides from the previous week.
